TOURNAMENT RULES - ALL SPORTS
SAFETY:
All event attendees must conduct themselves in a safe manner at all times while attending Heat Tournament events. If any unsafe environmental situation or actions are observed it is every attendees responsibly to immediately report the unsafe issue to tournament officials and/or facility officials. If at any time, any attendee or participant has the right to halt any activity that they deem unsafe until the issue can be remedied by tournament or facility officials. All attendees have the right to discontinue participation at any time they feel unsafe.
SPORTSMANSHIP:
Heat Tournaments are held to provide event participants with a fun and friendly environment. Any event attendee that causes the environment to take any other direction other than fun and encouragement will be restricted from the event and all event facilities until the conclusion of the event. This is a zero-tolerance directive, there are no appeals to the decision to restrict an attendee due to unsportsmanlike conduct as determined by the event head official.
REGISTRATION:
Teams are required to complete their team registration, pay all fees, sign and return all waivers and agreements at least one hour prior to the teams first scheduled game. Registration checklists will be completed by tournament officials and a signed copy of the registration checklist will be provided to the team representative. Teams are required to keep their registration checklist with a team representative throughout the event. The registration checklist may be requested at any time during the event and must be produced for a team to continue with their participation in the event.
Coaches are required to maintain proof of age for all players. Proof of age documentation includes the following items - birth certificates, passports, drivers licenses, or state issued ID.
